Only 1 more semester...

I only have 1 more semester of undergrad left! How can that be? I had a great semester and I'm kinda sad it went by SO fast. To catch you up, here's what I was up to this semester:)

I served as the new member coordinator for my sorority and had the best time teaching my amazing new girls!

I enjoyed the FSU football season opener and first game with the new coach, Jimbo Fisher:)

I enjoyed socials and birthday parties!

I went to Hal-o-scream at busch gardens for some halloween fun!

My little sister in Zeta took a little sister, making me a g-big!

Overall, I had an AMAZING semester:) I even ended it with straight "A"s...doesn't get much better than that:)

Thank You Taylor Swift

Every girl would probably agree with me when I say

Taylor Swift

writes the lyrics to all our lives. She did it in her first 2 albums and she's done it again in

SPEAK NOW!

Her 3rd album is beyond Amazing! I listen to every song and thing yep that's about ___________ in my life. I've had full conversations with my girls about which songs represent certain people in our lives. Now that I've been through the entire new album I think I have successfully assigned people in my life to the songs. Thank goodness for T Swizzle since I don't write songs.

Thanks Taylor

....you're super.

"Back to December"

I'm so glad you made time to see me
How's life, tell me how's your family
I haven't seen them in a while
You've been good, busier then ever
We small talk, work and the weather
Your guard is up and I know why

'Cause the last time you saw me
Is still burned in the back of your mind
You gave me roses and I left them there to die

So this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night
And I go back to December all the time
It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you
Wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine
I go back to December, turn around and make it all right
I go back to December all the time

These days I haven't been sleeping
Staying up playing back myself leaving
When your birthday passed and I didn't call
And I think about summer, all the beautiful times
I watched you laughing from the passenger side and,
Realized I loved you in the fall
And then the cold came, the dark days when fear crept into my mind
You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye

So this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night
And I go back to December all the time
It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you
Wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine
I go back to December, turn around and change my own mind
I go back to December all the time

I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile, so good to me, so right
And how you held me in your arms that September night,
The first time you ever saw me cry
Maybe this is wishful thinking
Probably mindless dreaming
If we loved again I swear I'd love you right

I'd go back in time and change it but I can't
So if the chain is on your door, I understand

But this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night
And I go back to December
It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you
Wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine
I go back to December, turn around and make it alright
I go back to December, turn around and change my own mind
I go back to December all the time

It's beginning to look a lot like....

CHRISTMAS & THE HOLIDAY SEASON!

Ok. I don't care that it's only November, 5th. The holiday season is upon us and I couldn't be more thrilled. You know what that means? Christmas trees, turkey, macy's thankgiving day parade, mom's cookies, giving presents, santa, mistle toe, cats attempting to climb the christmas tree and of course.....the Alabama Christmas cd. That about sums up the holidays in my household. Yes our cats do attempt to climb the tree annually (and have been successful in the past) and mom does make us listen to the Alabama Christmas cd on repeat over and over. I wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately, I'm still at school, in class and trying to keep my straight As. But I am beyond thrilled to get into the holiday season and spend time with the family when we have our holiday breaks! Not to mention, I will for sure be bringing back my pink sparkly Christmas tree for my dorm room for the rest of the semester. Probably the biggest fire hazard ever. Whatever. It's cute and PINK. I am already trying to figure out what to get everyone for Christmas....especially the parents. I start to run out of ideas after awhile. I am also thinking about asking for a nice camera this year for Christmas. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE to take pictures. I have always wanted one of those fancy looking ones that I'll probably never know how to work. You know, the ones that look like this.....

If anyone knows of any good brands or cameras that don't cost millions, let me know!

Happy Almost Holidays!

Up in the gym, working on my fitness

I'm finally getting back into the routine of working out and being healthy...which by the way is REALLY HARD TO DO IN COLLEGE. I only have so much food to choose from and I'm so busy with life that I have to workout at night but I'm finally starting to pull it off! Thankfully I have a good workout buddy; one of my college besties Amanda Germ. Thank goodness for her! She is like my own personal trainer. She even makes routines for us!:) Eating healthy is harder...our cafeteria doesn't always have the healthiest choices and they sure do have yummy desserts. But thankfully I've been sticking to the good food and staying healthy. I don't even really eat dessert anymore. That's pretty big for me...I have the BIGGEST SWEET TOOTH!

Something that is really helpful for me is Self Magazine or self.com. All Zeta Tau Alphas get the magazine for free so I've become hooked over the years. It has amazing work out tips, healthy food and just ideas for a healthy lifestyle. I love it! Check it out if you're interested:)

Love to all<3

Halloween Horror Nights!

Last night I went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal! I've been going for the last 4 years and it gets better and better every year. This year was the 20th anniversary and it was jam packed. We thought going on a thursday night would be better but it was still crazy. Thank goodness for express passes. They get you right into the houses! So if you don't know anything about HHN, it's basically a huge event at universal only going on at night. They have 8 haunted houses and 6 scare zones. It's incredible how detailed and scary they are! Each house has a specific theme and they're so much fun! Here's some pics (I didn't take them) and descriptions of the event!

Houses:

1. Catacombs: Black Death Rising
2.Hades: The Gates of Ruin
3. Horror Nights: The Hallow'd Past
4. Havoc: Dogs of War
5. Zombiegeddon
6. Legendary Truth: The Wyandot Estate
7.PsychoScareapy: Echos of Shadybrook
8. Orfanage: Ashes to Ashes
